Competitive Audits

I conducted a thorough analysis of current data visualization and BI products available on the market, focusing on their strengths, weaknesses, features, and market positioning. Most products excel in data analysis capabilities and offer a wide variety of chart types.

Sitemaps and wireflows

  • Created sitemaps for developers to quickly understand the product functions
  • Created wireflows to visualize the layout and flow
  • Developed interactive prototypes for presentations

Presentation to stakeholders

Host weekly meetings with stakeholders to present the advantage and progress of development

Collaboration with Development Team

  • Worked closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
  • Provided clear instruction in the Figma to support wireflows.

Takeaways

This has been the most complex project I've worked on so far. As the sole UX Designer, I had significant freedom and decision-making power to implement my ideas on user experience and product design. However, this also meant considering numerous details. Designing a SaaS product requires balancing user needs with technical constraints.
